Lorels (“we”) publishes this website and the StopCue app. This page covers two things: what we collect when you register for early access on this site, and what the StopCue app does on your phone. Questions or deletion requests: support@lorels.com.
Early-access registration
When you register for StopCue early access, you give us:
- Name and Google account email, to invite you as a Google Play tester and to contact you about StopCue.
- Age range (18 and over only) and, optionally, gender, country and phone model. We use these in aggregate to understand who StopCue helps and to check it works on a range of phones.
You submit them through a Google Form owned by Lorels, and the answers are stored in our Google Workspace account, which only Lorels staff can open. Google processes the form as our service provider. We don’t sell your details, don’t share them with advertisers, and share them with Google only as needed to run Google Forms and Google Play testing. Optional fields can be left blank. We keep registrations until the StopCue test ends, or until you ask us to delete yours; email us and we’ll remove it.
This website doesn’t use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address.
The StopCue app
Your sessions stay on your phone. StopCue has no account, no ads, no analytics SDK and no servers. Which apps you control, your timers, your reel counts and your streak are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
StopCue asks for these permissions, each explained in the app before Android asks:
- Accessibility service: used only to notice which app you opened (so it can ask how long you’ll stay) and to count swipes in the apps you chose. It doesn’t read what’s on your screen, what you type, or your messages, and nothing it sees is sent anywhere.
- Usage access and notification access (optional): power the screen-time report on your phone only.
- Notifications and the battery setting (optional): reminders, and keeping StopCue running in the background.
You can turn any of these off at any time in Android Settings, and the app will tell you what stops working.
Changes
If this policy changes we’ll update the date above and, for registered testers, email you about material changes.
